That`s right folks! Mtv.com has reported that while out promoting the his new film `Gone Girl`, Ben ``Bat-Fleck`` Affleck has stated that `BatMan v Superman` takes many ideas and is heavily influenced by one of the greatest Batman books of all time, one that changed the comic book genre and the character forever Frank Miller`s `The Dark Knight Returns`. Deep down I guess every fan boy already knew this would be the case after the leaked footage from San Diego Comic Con this past summer but to hear it from the Bat’s mouth just confirms that we’re in for something incredibly special.
