Everything You Wanted To Know About Ultron (But Were Afraid To Ask) 3

Ultron (First Appearance ‘Avengers’ #54, 1968)

Created by Roy Thomas and John Buscema in the late 60s, Ultron (or Ultron-5, the living automaton) was originally the invention-gone-awry of Hank Pym aka Ant-Man. Driven by an intense hatred of his creator, Ultron becomes a regular menace for the Avengers throughout the late 60s. He is also the creator of the android Vision. However, ironically, Vision also rebels against his creator and joins the Avengers Ultron.

In the 1970s Ultron returned once more, reconstructed by the villainous genius Maximus of the Inhumans. Ultron (now upgraded to Ultron-8) creates a robot bride named Jocasta, who is endowed with the brain patterns of Hank Pym’s wife Janet Van Dyne aka The Wasp. However, realizing that her life will cause Janet’s death, Jocasta also rebels against Ultron and allows the Avengers to reverse the process.

After a brief appearance during Marvel’s crossover event ‘Secret Wars’ in the 80s, a new Ultron appears calling himself Ultron Mark 12. This new Ultron befriends Hank Pym and ultimately defends Pym against the evil Ultron 11 with his life.

Later on in the 90s, Ultron 14 is once again looking for love in all the wrong places and builds himself a new robot companion, Alkhema, built with the brain patterns of Barbara Barton aka Mockingbird, Hawkeye’s wife. Sadly, Ultron is once more betrayed by the one he loves and Alkhema joins with the Avengers to thwart his nefarious plans.

By the turn of the millennium, Ultron resurfaces and infects Tony Stark, Iron Man’s armor taking control over the hero. Hank Pym, however, is able to wipe the virus from Stark’s suit, flinging Ultron’s consciousness into space. While in space, Ultron encounters the techno race known as the Phalanx and takes command over them. This leads to the major crossover event Annihilation: Conquest.

Most recently Ultron showed up in the time traveling crossover event Age of Ultron. Age of Ultron reveals an Ultron who is working from the future to impose his techno-organic domination over the Earth. Pushed to extreme measures, the Avengers decide that the only way to stop him is to go back into the past and kill Hank Pym before he can create him, creating an even worse butterfly effect they have to solve.

And there you have it, over 5 decades of comic book history wrapped for you in under 500 words. With Avengers 2: Age of Ultron coming out May 1st, we’ll get a chance to see just how much of Ultron’s history plays into the film. Whatever else happens, I’m sure we’ll see some Oedipal complex and plans for world domination, maybe even the creation of the Vision if we’re lucky.

Joss Whedon Talks How Batman v Superman is Similar to Avengers: Age of Ultron 0

Check out this interview with Joss Whedon on the Batman v Superman trailer. He drew some interesting parallels between the Batman v Superman story arch and that of the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron plot.

Whedon's main point? Not everyone will agree 100% of the time. In Avenger's you have two groups each fighting for what they think is the right path for the prosperity of Earth. We see the same conflict in Batman v Superman. Two heroes at an impasse because their respective ideas of good do not agree.

Zack Snyder Releases HD Teaser 0

BIG news hit this past week. There was a handycam leak of the first full length trailer for the heavily anticipated Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice flick. Zack Snyder stuck it to the video uploaders and their questionable camera skills by launching the full HD version for our viewing pleasure. We're completely captivated by the showdown between these two heroes. What an interesting standoff between two forces fighting for similar goals.

So I suppose the question is Nature vs. Nurture. Is the force that shall prevail one of God given power? Or is the drive of one victim and the vengeance he seeks the unbeatable force? Or will these heroes come together in the name of justice?

Guardians of the Galaxy Eclectic Method Remix - VIDEO 0

Some say that Awesome Mix Vol. 1 will never get played too much. Some already started to get tired of it (personally I don't think that can happen, but we're different people).

Eclectic Method made their mark on Guardians of the Galaxy, by remixing different lines and clips from the movie.

You can all watch it below and let us know which part was your favorite. Mine was "I am Groot".

KGBeast Cameo in Batman v Superman!! 0

We already know that at the end of March, when Batman v Superman hits theaters, we're going to see Aquaman, Flash, Cyborg, Lex Luthor and Doomsday.
One of the newest names which will connect with Batman v Superman is Knyazev a.k.a. KGBeast. KG Beast, as known by the C.I.A, was first introduced in "Ten Nights of the Beast". His first mission was to kill 10 high ranking U.S officials who worked in the Strategic Defense Initiative. Despite Batman's effort, his mission was a success, killing 7 targets.
This version of KGBeast won't be seen in the movie, but he's in the script and I can assure you he's going to be ruthless. I mean, in Ten Nights of the Beast he cut his own hand to escape Batman. So..
Now I'm wondering are we going to see other superheroes/villains? Are there any easter eggs for us, the committed fans? State your opinion in the comment section below.

Who would win? Batman VS Darth Vader [VIDEO] 0

Batman and Darth Vader we're featured in Super Power Beat Down new episode and they say this one is the best one so far.

Storyline: Batman travels to Death Star to save Superman, who was captured. Darth Vader appears, they meet and fight.

The episode was directed by none other than Aaron Schoenke from batinthesun. Super Power Beat Down is a Batinthesun production, a web series in which 2 super powered icons battle.

I won't say which one won in this one. All I can say is: Damn it Batman!
